Fodders is a wet feed with a 70% digestibility rate, which means no excess of sugar and non-structural carbohydrates to ferment and cause inflammation like laminitis. High water content allows for better hydration which can decrease the risk of colic and digestive upset. Meaning it’s a great immediate addition to horses diets, especially during travel, competition, and times of stress, as Its alkalinity helps to balance acidic conditions in the gut that may cause ulcers.
